My little girl has decided she wants to spoon feed herself! She isn't too good at it yet, but she is persistent about it. There are a few pictures to be posted about that. She also is quite a climber! A picture will be coming about that too. She tattles on Seth all the time and grunts and points when she wants something. At her last check-up (Monday the 19th) she weighed 18 pounds 10 ounces and was in the 3rd percentile. She was 30 inches tall (nearly the 50th percentile) and her head was 19 inches around (95th percentile). She still cannot turn around in her carseat yet! She is a peanut!! Anyway, on with the pictures.

Summary of my girl at age 14 and half months
Sophie is 14 months and 20 days old today. This morning on our home scale, she weighed 18.2 pounds. She wears mostly 12 month clothes, but also wears quite a few 12-18 month items as well. She wears a size 4 shoe and size 0-12 month tights. Her hair is golden brown and is starting to get curly. She has pretty blue eyes and a contagious smile in spite of the chipped front tooth which happened as a result of an unfortunate fall off the couch at my in-laws house. She has been walking since before her 1st birthday and is now on the verge of running. She has just learned to climb up into our bed. She has a vocabulary of about 15 words (mama, dada, bubba, dog, kitty, kiss, no, me, mine, papa, go, bye-bye, and a few others). She has only spent a handful of hours away from me since birth. She is a mama's girl through and through, but she is CRAZY about her daddy and her papa. Her travels have not been near as broad as her brother's were by her age. Don't get me wrong, she's been her fair share of places, but nothing like he had. Her favorite foods include popcorn, cheese puff'n corn, pizza, eggs, yogurt, green beans, potatoes, and anything sweet! She has recently developed quite the sense of humor....she thinks everything is hilarious! She plays peek-a-boo in the cutest way I have ever seen. First I cover my eyes and say "peek-a-boo". She laughs hysterically. Then I say peek-a-boo again and she covers her ears and pulls her hands away and laughs hysterically again. It is so adorable! I'm going to post some photos of her and end the entry for now....more to come soon!
